1. Based on the size of the conveyor belt damage, a cutting repair line should be drawn around the damaged area by at least 15-20mm. Cut at a 45 degree angle and peel off the damaged cover adhesive. When cutting, be careful not to damage the underlying fabric or steel wire layer.
2. Use an angle grinder in conjunction with a tungsten steel grinding disc to deeply polish the damaged part of the conveyor belt, and it is recommended to polish it by 3mm.
3. Lay the polished conveyor belt with a fabric reinforcement layer or a steel wire reinforcement layer, apply hot vulcanizing agent to the reinforcement layer and damaged parts, cut the four edges of the unvulcanized core rubber into diagonal grooves, and apply the hot vulcanizing agent evenly (the size of the unvulcanized surface rubber should be consistent with the size of the damaged part).
4. Use a hot vulcanization repair machine or vulcanization machine for pressurization and heating vulcanization.
Reminder: The temperature of the vulcanization machine controller should be controlled between 145-150 ℃. After the temperatures of the upper and lower vulcanization plates have stabilized, the vulcanization timer should start for 35-45 minutes. (Depending on the thickness of the belt, each vulcanization plate can vulcanize about 1mm of rubber every 4 minutes.) The water pressure of the vulcanization machine can only be relieved when the temperature of the vulcanization plate drops below 70 ℃, and then the vulcanization machine can be removed.
